Vacancy information

As Medical & Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of healthcare professionals across Flanders. You will act as a trusted partner in the field, combining scientific dialogue with a structured commercial approach.

You will visit healthcare professionals, understand their needs, share relevant product and therapeutic information, and ensure accurate follow-up. Your role is both relationship-driven and result-oriented: you will strengthen existing relationships, identify new opportunities, and contribute to the visibility and credibility of the company in your region.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Visiting healthcare professionals across Flanders and building strong, long-term relationships.
  • Presenting scientific and product-related information in a clear, accurate, and compliant way.
  • Translating medical and scientific content into relevant messages for different healthcare stakeholders.
  • Managing your regional customer portfolio in a structured and proactive manner.
  • Developing and executing account plans for your territory.
  • Identifying customer needs, opportunities, and potential barriers in the field.
  • Following up on customer questions quickly, professionally, and accurately.
  • Working towards qualitative and quantitative objectives.
  • Reporting activities, insights, and market feedback through the appropriate internal systems.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, medical, and management.
  • Staying up to date on product knowledge, therapeutic areas, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Representing the company professionally during visits, meetings, and relevant events.

Requirements information

Your profile:

You are a motivated field professional with a strong interest in healthcare, science, and commercial relationship building. You know how to combine credibility, empathy, and commercial drive.

The ideal candidate has:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a scientific, medical, pharmaceutical, paramedical, or commercial field.
  • Experience in medical sales, pharmaceutical sales, healthcare sales, or a similar field-based role.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain scientific information clearly.
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch, with good professional knowledge of French and English.
  • A strong understanding of the healthcare environment in Belgium.
  • A structured and disciplined way of working.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a territory independently.
  • A customer-focused mindset and a genuine interest in long-term relationship building.
  • Commercial drive without being overly aggressive in the sales approach.
  • A proactive, positive, and professional attitude.
  • Good digital skills and experience with CRM tools is an asset.
  • A valid driving licence.
