As a Hospital Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with hospitals, healthcare professionals, and key decision-makers within your assigned territory. You will represent a portfolio of innovative medical devices and act as a trusted partner by providing product expertise, clinical support, and tailored solutions that address customer needs.

Success in this role requires a combination of commercial acumen, scientific curiosity, relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex hospital environments. You will work closely with internal colleagues across sales, marketing, clinical support, and customer service to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurses, procurement departments, and other hospital stakeholders.
  • Promote and position the medical device portfolio within hospitals and healthcare institutions.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop strategic account plans for your territory.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and educational sessions for healthcare professionals.
  • Provide clinical and technical product support where appropriate.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to contract follow-up.
  • Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Participate in congresses, workshops, and scientific meetings.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities using CRM tools.
  • Achieve agreed commercial objectives while ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
  • Ensure excellent after-sales support and contribute to long-term customer satisfaction.

Your Profile

We are looking for a motivated professional who combines strong interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in healthcare and medical technology.

Ideally, you bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, Business, or an equivalent field.
  • Previous experience in medical device sales, pharmaceutical sales, healthcare sales, or another customer-facing commercial role is considered an asset.
  • Experience working with hospitals and healthcare professionals is a plus.
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical and clinical information.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Analytical mindset with a customer-centric approach.
  • Good knowledge of CRM systems and digital communication tools.
  • Fluent in English and either Dutch or French. Knowledge of both national languages is considered an advantage.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned region.
