We have an exciting job opportunity for a Senior Brand Manager in a leading Suisse pharmaceutical company:

                                   

  • Marketing Lead within the marketing department (without reporting line), coordinating and developing younger marketing managers and supporting the Business Unit Head Retail & Specialty in setting up marketing priorities
  • Be responsible for the sales and profitability of few selected products as well as the in-market performance
  • Define, develop, implement and monitor the marketing strategy for the product portfolio
  • Provide information on performance, key competitors, market dynamics, pricing impact and customer/patient needs in preparation of key business reviews and management and/or regional ad-hoc requests
  • Support internal stakeholders in preparation of target discussions (short-term forecasting), strategic planning (mid-/long-term forecasting) and supply monitoring
  • Prepare and support the launch of products by having a pivotal role within the organization and be the main point of contact for the sales organization
  • Based in Belgium

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES :

 

  • Create marketing plans and define key strategic pillars supported by the development and promotion of effective communication and marketing material
  • Support Business Unit Head Retail & Specialty in coordinating marketing activities (e.g. Cycle Meeting preparation, monthly business reviews, consolidation of product forecasting, business case preparations)
  • Coach, support and develop marketing managers in their daily activities (e.g. patient journeys, preparation of marketing materials, workshop preparation, trainings)
  • Analyze and understand market performance of the focus products and develop short-term tactics to capture market opportunities in line with strategic pillars
  • Prepare launches 6-12 months prior to launch in collaboration and alignment with Sales, Launch, Finance, and Supply Chain departments
  • Support the Portfolio Manager by identifying areas for investments in the next 3-5 years and shaping product pipeline
  • Develop and present supporting marketing material for the sales force
  • Prepare briefing, coordinate and follow-up with external agencies to develop marketing material, market research (and others, if relevant)

  • Strong skills in managing cross-functional projects
  • 5-10 years of pharmaceutical experience
  • University degree (bachelor/master) – preferably in business administration (with focus marketing), communication sciences, pharmaceutical sciences
  • Fluent in English/NL/French
