Senior Account Manager

As Senior Account Manager, you are responsible for all sales within the hospital channel. You will lead the company goals in accordance with the overall margin strategy. You are in charge of developing new business opportunities through a direct product promotion.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve the yearly regional business plan in collaboration with the Sales Manager to meet challenging targets.
  • Focus on revenue growth against plan and right product mix, maintaining costs and strategic company goals.
  • Provide, monitor and maintain regular forecast information in the funnel tool which detail product, project, revenue and timings.
  • Develop local product strategies through dedicated analyses market landscape/competitor products to increase sales and decrease costs level.
  • Provide financial packages to tender bids and corporate visits to head office, service centers and reference sites.
  • Manage the whole hospital decision chain addressing the right messages to each of the players.
  • Present management information and contract review information to GPO (Group Purchasing Organization).
  • Ensures the implementation of patient handling/ companies’ products promotional/sales programs in conjunction with marketing communication, education and clinical and training, practice enhancement.
  • Liaises with the Commercial Operations Manager and local technical and service teams with regards to maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

 

PROFILE:

  • Native French speaker and good understanding of English.
  • Experience with tenders is an advantage.
  • Strong ability to plan medium-term.
  • Ability to negotiate at highest levels in hospitals.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Computer literate with MS Office and CRM applications.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 7 years’ commercial experience with proven results in hospitals and preferably in capital goods.
  • Clinical approach based.
  • Experience with reaching CEOs / Key decision makers in the entire hospital decision chain.
