We are looking for a Product Manager (Benelux) for a renowned pharma company specialized in ophthalmology. If you already have some years experience in pharmaceutical brand/ product management, your comprehension of Dutch/ French/ English is good and you have a scientific background or similar by experience, than this could be a possible match. Knowledge of the opthalmo market is not a must, but a genuine interest in this domain certainly is. Please don’t hesitate in making yourself known .

OBJECTIVES / PURPOSE OF JOB

Developing and implementing the marketing strategy for Benelux.

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Strong strategic and operational contributor to the Benelux marketing plans:

• Systematic redaction of a global, actual and pertinent analysis (environment/market/competition/brands)
• Systematic recommendations on objectives, strategies, action plans and budgetary means adapted and justified by the analysis.
• Re-evaluation at each campaign of the results, actions and recommendations on eventual pertinent re-orientations.
• Be a driver in proposing new approaches for promotional activities and thematic for marketing tools in his marketing plan.

• Develop regional sales in accordance to the operating plan:

• Reach objectives in topline and EBITA.
• Elaborate campaigns with respect of the Benelux local code of conduct and in line with the regulatory.
• Optimize coordination with the EMEA offices and medical/regulatory management in France.

• Ensure compliance regarding corporate rules and the local pharmaceutical legislation

• Ensure all quality complaints are forwarded to Customer service/Regulatory Affairs
• Ensure all notifications of adverse events are forwarded to the PV department

• Ensure samples are handled in accordance with good distribution practice

COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

• Good standard of education required.
• Degree (or equivalent) in marketing, scientific background is an asset.
• 2 to 4 years pharmaceutical (healthcare industry) product manager experience, with proven track record.
• Business analysis and planning.
• Ophthalmology (preferred).
• Multi-national company preferred.
• Excellent, written and verbal communication skills in English, French and Dutch.
• Able to inspire and motive others.
• Target driven with a desire to exceed targets through others.
• Self-motivated.
• Demonstrable influencing and negotiating skills, articulate and confident.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
