For a renowned pharma company specialized in ophthalmology, we have a great opportunity for a Pharma Country Manager (Benelux). We are looking for an inspiring pharma leader who has strategic and operational talent in the domains of Sales & Marketing and can coach and manage the Benelux team with a great dynamic.


  • Build the Pharma Benelux strategy:
    • Develop the marketing plans for all relevant products with the Benelux product manager.
    • Develop the sales plan for both Belux and the Netherlands with the 2 field managers.
    • Ensure the right execution of marketing and sales plans as well as the respect of operational budget. Maximize the use of all operational budgets.
    • Ensure the preparation of new product launches with regulatory, marketing, supply chain and external partners.
    • Update sales forecast.


  • Drive the relationship and negotiate key agreements with key partners (Dutch Health Insurances, key customers, etc.).
  • Participate in communication actions toward Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Prepare and lead field force meetings with his/her management team.
  • Build and propose Annual Incentive Plans for the field team.
  • Work on business development opportunities and potential new partnerships.
  • Ensure a regular reporting to the Pharma Cluster’s management on operations execution, sales achievement, key events, …
  • Participate to regular Supply chain meetings to ensure the proper supply of products.
  • Ensure full compliance regarding corporate rules and local pharmaceutical regulations. Interface regularly with Regulatory Manager as well as Compliance Officer.



  • Degree in sales / marketing / commercial background.
  • Experience as a Sales Manager or a Marketing Manager is requested.
  • Experience in health care industry.
  • Multinational preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Dutch and French.
  • Able to inspire and motive teams. Self-motivated. Charisma, leadership.
  • Target driven with a desire to exceed targets through others.
  • Demonstrate influencing and negotiating skills, articulate and confident.
