For a dynamic company known for introducing high quality innovative medical devices (interventional cardiology and electrophysiology) we are looking for a National Hospital Representative. Recently graduates in biomedical engineering are very welcome!
Vacancy information
The National Hospital Representative is responsible for introducing new, innovative medical technologies to the Belgian physicians throughout the process from idea conceptualization to patient treatment. In this position, you are also responsible for product training and specialized assistance before, during and after procedure. The area to cover is a part of Flanders and a part of Wallonia. The Hospital Representative reports to the Sales & Marketing Director.
Role & responsibilities:
- Reaching targets for assigned product groups and customers
- Initiate, maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers
- Schedule appointments
- Introducing and selling products
- Provide training and clinical lessons to (potential) customers
- Supervise the use of products in the Cath lab
- Establish and follow quotations
- Co-responsible for a constructive cooperation with colleagues in order to achieve an optimal market penetration
- Collect, interpret and channel of relevant market- and product data
- Manning the stands at congresses and symposia
- Participate in sales meetings
- Strong planning and reporting skills
The Hospital Representative is responsible to perform the above-mentioned tasks correctly and according to the medical-ethical standards and values in order to realize the agreed targets. The Product Specialist is authorized to negotiate within the predetermined margins.
Requirements information
- Bachelor/Master (technical and/or medical such as biomedical engineer)
- Driver’s license
- Knowledge and experience within the medical devices industry is a pre but no must
- Knowledge of sales and sales techniques is a pre but no must
- No objection to wear scrubs and a lead apron (in the Cath lab)
- Fluent in Dutch & French & good knowledge of English
- Ambitious, honest and quality conscious
