National Field Sales Manager OTC

For a fast growing consumer health care company we are looking for a tri-lingual National Sales Manager. The main purpose of this position is to develop and maintain the business in Belgium in collaboration with a dedicated team of pharma sales representatives.

Vacancy information

  • Ensure sales forecasts and operational budgets are met or exceeded at regional and national level.
  • Translate marketing strategies into sales action plans
  • Discover and meet the needs of Pharmacists by building relationships and delivering innovative solutions
  • Manage accessibility issues
  • Coach the pharma reps on customer facing, territory management, customer and brand knowledge
  • Accompany the pharma reps at regular intervals to gain customer insights, to give feedback to the marketing team and to search for new business opportunities
  • Participate on sales and cross-functional meetings to provide sales perspective on issues
  • Implement performance management system
  • Demonstrate business ethics and ensure active respect of values, local laws, policies and procedures by reps
  • Stay up to date on industry trends.

Requirements information

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years successful people management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferable in a consumer health care company
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree, by preference Master degree
  • Excellent knowledge of selling skills and the selling process
  • Extremely goal oriented, results driven
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and financial management skills
  • French, Dutch & English speaking.
