Your future role

As a Medical Science Liaison / Medical Advisor, you operate at the intersection of science, clinical practice, and strategy. You act as a trusted scientific partner for medical stakeholders and play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

You will contribute to the medical positioning of an innovative medical device by translating complex scientific insights into practical applications for healthcare professionals. Your role will also involve supporting clinical research activities and ensuring alignment between scientific data, clinical practice, and internal strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), including specialists and hospital experts
  • Develop and execute a structured KOL engagement plan
  • Support and train speakers, and contribute to scientific presentations
  • Act as the medical bridge between clinical practice, research, and internal teams
  • Contribute to and follow up on clinical studies, including real-world evidence and post-marketing studies
  • Collaborate closely with R&D teams and provide scientific input for ongoing and future research
  • Translate complex scientific data into clear, actionable insights
  • Support the correct medical positioning and appropriate use of the product

Requirements information

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a scientific field such as Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medicine
  • Initial experience as an MSL, Medical Advisor, or similar medical role is a strong asset
  • Strong interest in clinical research and medical innovation
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific information in a clear and structured way
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with medical experts
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the willingness to contribute to a growing organization
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
