As Coordinating Pharmacist Manager, you will play a pivotal role within a specialized team dedicated to optimizing pharmaceutical care in residential care centres. You act as both strategic architect and operational leader: shaping the long-term vision of the CAA function while ensuring efficient, structured, and high-quality daily operations. You are an inspiring coach who brings clarity, direction, and leadership to a domain in full development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear strategic vision for the content and evolution of the CAA function.
  • Further structure and strengthen the team’s nine expertise domains (e.g., pharmaceutical policy, medication management, digitalization & AI, audits, care programmes, innovation projects).
  • Oversee the operational management of the team: KPI follow-up, quality, processes, compliance, and deadlines.
  • Coach, support and inspire a team of experienced pharmacists; enable structure, cohesion, and professional growth.
  • Facilitate internal collaboration and best-practice sharing.
  • Act as key counterpart for external stakeholders such as universities, patient associations, and key opinion leaders.

Requirements information

🤳 Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a pharmacist.
  • Proven experience as a people manager or team leader; you bring maturity, charisma, and inspiring leadership.
  • Strong analytical mindset, structured approach, and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Client-oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Affinity with residential care and medication processes is a strong asset.
  • Strong digital skills; interest in digitalisation and AI is a plus.
  • Fluent in Dutch and French; good command of English.
