As an exclusive partner for a customer, we are looking for a Key Account Manager for the region Oostende – Veurne – Ieper – Zwevegem.

Our client is an international pharmaceutical company with more than 80 years of experience and a strong focus on research, development, production, and marketing of innovative medicines in the fields of respiratory medicine, neonatology, rare diseases, and special care.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for drawing up and executing annual account plans, maximizing sales, and identifying new business opportunities. He/she will establish contacts and develop sustainable partnerships with pneumologists within the assigned region as well as with a selection of general practitioners.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop annual account plans in collaboration with MSL (Medical Science Liaison), Marketing and Medical Affairs. These plans must ‘live’ and therefore evaluated regularly and, if necessary, you must take specific actions based on changes in the market.
- In addition to developing the account plans, you guarantee their implementation within your hospitals.
- Maintain existing and build new relationships with the various medical and non-medical stakeholders within the hospitals.
- Manage and update the customer database in accordance with company guidelines.
- Implement segmentation principles for targeted customer communications.
- Provide information and expertise to meet customer requests and achieve business goals.
- Stay up to date on the therapeutic area, the products, and the competitors through training and scientific meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project results and align with project implementations.
- Organize scientific evenings, staff meetings, etc.
Requirements information
Requirements:
- Bachelor or master’s in science or (para) medical.
- Experience as GP/SP rep or only GP experience.
- Ambitious.
- Team spirit.
- Able to work independently.
- Be open to feedback so that your full potential can be developed.
- In addition to your native language Dutch, you can express yourself in ENG.
- Practical knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.
