We have a great opportunity for an experienced Hospital Sales Representative with the interest and ambition to evolve into a District Manager role or for someone who already has the experience to lead and coach a team. It concerns a combined role Hospital Sales Representative/District Manager.


Main Responsibilities:

This is a combined role District Manager (DM)/ Hospital Sales Representative (HSR).

As DM, you are accountable for the business performance of the promoted products in Belgium and for coaching a team of 3 hospital sales representatives.

As HSR, you are responsible for the sales result and market share growth for products in promotion within your region (Brussels & Hainaut). The target group exists of different kind of specialists (pneumologists, neurologists, gastro-enterologists,…) and hospital pharmacists.

  • Lead the account approach and digitalization of your team;
  • Shows leadership through communication effective of vision, active coaching and development, taking appropriate action to correct deviation;
  • Drive the flawless definition and execution of the team sales account plans aligned/based on the local activity/expert engagement plan
  • Drive sales force effectiveness
  • Informing your target group about products in your portfolio
  • Building and maintaining your own network;
  • Achieving the commercial objectives;
  • Audience visits based on the account plan;
  • Organise meetings for the target group;
  • Representing the organization at symposia and congresses;
  • Actively collaborate with colleagues within the company;
  • Preparing, giving and following up on group presentations;
  • Co-devise, set up and execute medical, marketing and sales projects to increase market share development and customer satisfaction;
  • Reporting visits in a CRM system.


Requirements/ Skills:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years’ experience as an Hospital Sales Representative is a must
  • Experience with Key Account / DMU Management
  • A first experience in a leadership role is not required but highly appreciated
  • Fluency in Dutch, French and English is a must.
  • Existing network with pneumologists and neurologists is preferred
  • Team player with a customer-oriented attitude
