For an international company active in the medical devices industry, we are looking for a Hospital Sales Representative for the Flanders region.

This organization develops and commercializes innovative medical solutions that are used daily across various hospital departments, including gynecology, surgery, anesthesia, and urology. Thanks to its strong reputation, high-quality products, and people-centered approach, the company continues to grow within the Belgian healthcare landscape.

To support the further development of the Flemish market, we are looking for an enthusiastic professional who enjoys building long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and wants to make a tangible impact on patient care.

Vacancy information

As a Hospital Sales Representative, you will be responsible for further developing and expanding your territory across Flanders. Thanks to your clinical expertise or experience within the medical device sector, you will become a trusted partner for physicians, nurses, and midwives in hospitals.

You will visit hospitals and build strong relationships with medical specialists and nursing staff. You understand their daily challenges and support them in the use of innovative medical solutions that improve patient care.

You will initially focus on gynecology and gradually expand your expertise to other product categories within the portfolio. Through comprehensive training, you will develop both your technical product knowledge and your commercial skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand the Flanders territory
  • Visit hospitals, medical centers, and healthcare professionals
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, nurses, and midwives
  • Present, demonstrate, and promote medical devices
  • Identify commercial opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Gradually develop expertise across the full product portfolio
  • Monitor market developments and competitor activities
  • Accurately report customer visits, activities, and market insights.

Requirements information

  • Experience as a nurse within gynecology, urology, or another relevant hospital department, or a background as a midwife
  • OR experience as an Account Manager, Hospital Representative, or Sales Representative within the medical device or healthcare sector
  • Fluent in Dutch, good command of English, and knowledge of French is considered an asset
  • Affinity with the hospital environment and interest in medical technology
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with physicians, nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals
  • Commercial mindset and motivation to further develop a territory
  • Independent, proactive, and results-oriented
  • Willingness to gain in-depth knowledge of a specialized medical product portfolio.
