An international pharmaceutical organization is currently strengthening its hematology field presence within the southern territory following an organizational change in the team.

The assignment focuses on ensuring continuity and sustained growth for a highly specialized hematology product within:

  • French-speaking Belgium
  • Brussels
  • Luxembourg

This is not a traditional sales representative position. The role requires a highly autonomous and field-driven professional capable of rapidly creating impact within a complex hematology environment where:

The organization is entering an important growth phase for the product and therefore requires someone who can become operational immediately, without requiring a long introduction period to the hematology landscape.

The successful consultant will become the primary point of contact for hematologists across the assigned territory and will play a key role in maintaining strong specialist engagement and continuity in the field.

Requirements information

The Hematology Therapeutic Area Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Managing and developing relationships with hematologists across the southern territory
  • Ensuring consistent and high-quality field presence within hospital centers
  • Engaging in scientifically credible and specialist-level discussions with healthcare professionals
  • Leveraging an existing hematology network to gain rapid access to key stakeholders and treatment centers
  • Identifying local opportunities, barriers and market dynamics within the hematology ecosystem
  • Contributing to the continued growth and positioning of the product within the region
  • Adapting communication style and engagement strategy depending on hospital structures and stakeholder profiles
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and structured follow-up
  • Managing a broad geographical territory with a high degree of autonomy and ownership

The role is field-oriented and requires someone who is comfortable spending significant time on the road while maintaining energy, consistency and relationship quality.

Candidate profile:

We are specifically looking for a senior profile with proven experience within hematology and an already established network among hematologists and hospital stakeholders.

The ideal candidate:

  • already understands the realities of hematology HCP's, hematology access and hematology stakeholder management

The organization is therefore not looking for a junior profile requiring onboarding into the therapeutic area, but for someone who already operates within this hematology ecosystem today.

Experience

  • Proven pharmaceutical sales experience within hematology
  • Existing relationships with hematologists
  • Strong understanding of hospital dynamics and specialist engagement
  • Experience operating within highly scientific therapeutic environments
