The Marketing Lead will lead the overall Omnichannel Marketing Capability toward seamless omnichannel customer experience and work closely with the global omnichannel and digital teams to accelerate the digital transition for Belgium and Luxembourg. The Omnichannel Marketing Lead will work towards a shared strategic goal for concrete implementation plans in the spirit of continuous improvement and learning. 

  • Lead the overall Omnichannel Marketing Strategic Plan 
  • Coach and support the omnichannel marketeers 
  • Assist brand managers and other commercial roles in developing a holistic omnichannel strategic brand plan  
  • Support dedicated Categories with recommendations on how to make content omnichannel adapted and orchestrate the use of channels by customer type 
  • Create and manage content for the web portal 
  • Develop and drive the implementation of web, e-mail, social media and video/webinar campaigns in collaboration with brand managers and customer facing colleagues 
  • Be the analytics expert for continuous improvement and learning across all channels and campaigns to formulate recommendations to the Country Brand Leads 
  • Provide recommendations on how to improve digital KPIs reporting to internal teams 
  • Co-develop and execute short and long-term measurement plans  
  • Drive a coherent analytical framework to help the organization learn and continuously improve 
  • Develops omni-channel best-practices & trainings and actively share them with digital platform functions across the company
  • Support the search for new and innovative digital capabilities to ensure the best experience possible for the customer and patient, e.g web portal 
  • Demonstrate change management capabilities to win hearts and minds and accelerate digital uptake across the different Categories. 

Requirements information

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Management with a specialization in Marketing/Digital marketing or another related field.  
  • Additional degree in Pharmaceutical or Biomedical sciences or any other related field is a plus. 
  • A proven track-record in omnichannel marketing in the pharmaceutical industry
  • People management experience is required
  • Fluency in spoken French and Dutch. Good knowledge of English (written and spoken) 
  • Digital mindset and teamspirit 
  • Interpersonal skills and intercultural mindset  
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast paced and changeable pharma environment. 
  • Result oriented: flexible and dynamic with a “get things done” approach to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a deadline driven environment 
  • Experience or willingness to learn tools for digital content creation, e.g automated email marketing, web editing, video and paid media 
  • Experience or willingness to learn tools for measurement of digital channel performance, e.g. Adobe analytics and tagging tools.
