For a Biotech company specialized in enzyme-based hygiene, we are looking for a Commercial Director / Business Development Manager to help expand their business. You will be responsible for creating and applying an effective sales & marketing strategy to increase overall revenues substantially and you will be the face of the company on the Global Level.                                                          

MISSION:

This Commercial Director will lead team of three commercial people and he/she will be responsible for the analyses of the different challenges to make a business plan and (once approved), execute this plan. He/she reports directly to the CEO.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong customer relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs on a Global Level
  • Focus on developing partnerships with the industry (hospitals and distributors)
  • Translate the added value of entering into a partnership for both the customer and the company (win/win)
  • Establish high-level contacts with distributors in order to place the company’s products at the highest level
  • Have the motivation and charisma to identify and develop business opportunities globally
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Directly develop and manage a pool of customers

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Business-to-Business experience at an international level in the Life Sciences or cleaning solutions industry
  • Proven working experience as a commercial Manager or BD manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Marketing responsibility experience is a must
  • Proven sales track record
  • Market knowledge
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and operational implementation skills
  • Able to bring a story towards different stakeholders (companies, authorities, media, …)
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Able to travel
  • English : must, French: wish, other languages are a plus
