For our client, a well-known CRO in the Antwerp region, we are currently looking for a Clinical Project Manager

 

Job Description

As Clinical Project Manager (CPM) you will lead a cross-functional team in the execution of clinical research projects, with specialization in those conducted at the Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU). You will manage the project as such that the sponsor’s expectations are met within the constraints of the budget allotted to the project.

You may also be involved in the pre-award process, development of the project budget and related documents as well as client meetings, including bid defence meetings, if applicable.

Develop and manage the overall project planning and implementation, and you will be the primary liaison between the sponsor, the project team, vendors and the site participating in the study throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Perform general supervision of the project and will liaise with the coordinating team members of the different parties involved in the execution of the project, in order to ensure the assigned trial is conducted in accordance to the contract and in compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements, pre-defined procedures, applicable quality standards and mutually accepted work scope, study protocol and timelines.

Work pro-actively with the study team members to identify potential issues that might impact the execution of the project and/or the budget in and will provide contingencies to accommodate the needs of the assigned project.

Work directly with the Clinical Research Coordinator at the CPU, who coordinates and conducts clinical trial activities under supervision of the Principal Investigator.

 

Qualifications

University degree in a scientific, medical or paramedical area.

At least 2 years of CPM experience within the domain of clinical research or at least 2 years of Lead CRA experience – in early phases.

Fluent in English and preferably good knowledge of Dutch

Willing to travel (domestic and international)

Preferably experience in early stage clinical studies

Experience in onco trials is an asset
