Our client is an innovative healthtech startup active within the Flemish hospital landscape. They develop digital platforms focused on quality improvement, reuse of patient data, and the implementation of medical guidelines.

Their first commercially available product is a validated 360° multisource feedback tool designed for supervising physicians and medical departments. The platform is already being used in several hospitals and has received strong qualitative feedback. The next step is a focused commercial rollout.

To support this growth phase, they are looking for an experienced Sales Manager who can actively open the market and structurally position the product within hospitals.

🔮 Your Future Role

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial rollout of the 360° feedback platform across Flemish hospitals.

You will start in a freelance/outsourcing structure (0.5 to 0.8 FTE) with an initial horizon of 6–12 months. The objective is to open the market, build references, and generate traction. With positive growth, there is potential for a long-term structural role within the organization.

This is a pioneering role: you will help build the market from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect hospitals and medical departments across Flanders
  • Approach accredited supervising physicians
  • Present the platform to physicians and medical leadership teams
  • Build sustainable relationships within hospital structures
  • Close commercial agreements
  • Capture market feedback and report directly to the founders
  • Contribute to positioning and commercial strategy development
  • The focus is on field sales and relationship building. Marketing materials are available and supported internally.

Requirements information

🤳 Your Profile

  • Mid to senior-level B2B sales experience
  • Experience within healthcare or hospital environments is a strong plus
  • Comfortable engaging with physicians and medical executives
  • Independent, entrepreneurial, and results-driven
  • Persistent with strong communication skills
  • An existing hospital network is an asset but not mandatory
  • Medical background not required – commercial maturity is key
