With a growing footprint in the Netherlands, the company is now looking to strengthen its presence by hiring an Account Manager who will focus on highly specialized cardio surgical products used during open-heart procedures.

Your future role:

In this position, you will operate at the intersection of clinical expertise and commercial responsibility. You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals, including surgeons, perfusionists, and operating room staff.

You will play a crucial role in supporting surgical teams with the implementation and use of advanced medical devices, while also driving business growth across your region. This is a highly autonomous role where ownership and initiative are key.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand your network within cardio surgery departments across major hospitals
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with surgeons, perfusionists, and clinical stakeholders
  • Support and advise medical teams on the use of specialized products in surgical settings
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively prospect within your region
  • Manage complex sales cycles and follow up on ongoing opportunities
  • Organize and plan your own client visits and agenda
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams for support and follow-up
  • Ensure accurate reporting and pipeline management

Requirements information

  • You have experience in a clinical or medical environment (e.g. operating room, ICU, perfusion, or medical devices)
  • You combine technical understanding with a strong commercial mindset
  • You are confident interacting with highly specialized medical professionals
  • You are autonomous, proactive, and able to structure your own work
  • You have strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • You are based in the Netherlands and willing to travel frequently
