We are looking for a driven Account Manager for our client, an international pharmaceutical company with over 80 years of experience and a strong focus on innovative medicines in respiratory medicine, neonatology, rare diseases, and special care. Recent graduates with a paramedical background who want to take their first steps as medical representatives with general practitioners and specialists are certainly welcome.

In this role, you will be the key contact for pulmonologists and a select group of general practitioners within your region. You will build lasting relationships, identify new business opportunities, and maximize the impact of our products and services.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop and actively manage annual account plans in collaboration with Medical Science Liaison, Marketing, and Medical Affairs teams. These plans are dynamic and should be adjusted as needed based on market developments.
  • Implement these plans within hospitals and other healthcare settings.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with both medical and non-medical stakeholders.
  • Manage and update the customer database in accordance with company policies.
  • Apply segmentation principles to ensure targeted customer communication.
  • Provide customers with relevant information and expertise to meet their requests and achieve business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on therapeutic areas, product knowledge, and competitors through training and scientific meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully implement projects and achieve results.
  • Organize scientific evenings, staff meetings, and other relevant events.

Requirements information

Who are you?

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a scientific or (para)medical field.
  • You are a true go-getter with a proactive mindset.
  • You work independently but also enjoy being part of a team.
  • You are open to feedback and eager to develop your full potential.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of English.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems is an advantage.
