We are recruiting for one of our clients, a Belgian biomedical company specializing in advanced cleaning solutions for medical devices and the hospital environment.
The company develops and produces innovative enzymatic detergents, protocols, and services to support high-tech decontamination, including the detection and treatment of biofilms and bioburdens in healthcare settings.
Currently, university centers in Flanders are already clients, and now the focus is on convincing the "periphery"!

The Role
The candidate will combine two roles:
Account Manager for hospitals in Flanders.
Key Account Manager (KAM) for B2B activities, limited to two strategic partners within the Benelux.
Responsibilities
- Developing Account Plans: Create strategic plans, evaluate them regularly, and adapt them to market changes.
- Implementing Account Plans: Ensure successful execution of plans within your hospitals.
- Relationship Management: Maintain existing relationships and establish new collaborations with medical and non-medical stakeholders.
- Managing the Client Database: Keep the database updated according to company guidelines.
- Targeted Client Communication: Use segmentation principles to ensure focused and effective communication.
- Expertise and Client Focus: Provide information and solutions to meet client needs and help them achieve business goals.
- Staying Up-to-Date: Stay informed about developments in your field, new products, and competitors through training and scientific meetings.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize project outcomes.
Requirements information
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Account Manager in hospitals in Flanders.
- A driven professional who wants to make a difference.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science or (para)medical fields.
- A “go-getter” attitude.
- Team spirit.
- Native Dutch speaker with strong English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- A positive mindset combined with a proactive approach!
